Inicjatywa Mikro (“IM”) is a microfinance organization that provides small business loans to growing enterprises in Poland. Established in 1996 with the help of Opportunity International, IM now operates seven lending branches throughout central and southern Poland serving both rural and urban clients. IM’s product offering includes micro/working capital loans, credit lines, start-up loans, car loans, and overnight loans. Loans are made directly to entrepreneurs after an interview and detailed credit evaluation. IM is registered with the National Court Entrepreneurs Register and is headquartered in Krakaw, Poland.
